Leading to album release date, U.K.’s Clash Magazine premiered “Baby Boy” as their “track of the day” on 9/21.There is a cinematic feel on that record and it felt right to have it as the opener on “Secret In The Dark” track list. Lush string arrangements paired with a syncopated bass line create an air of mystery on this disco-noir extravaganza.Clash premiere may not include “Baby boy” on it’s full glory, but you can still get how it sets the NYC vibe on Monika’s new album.
